Looking for two assistant managers to work in a team of two or three. The co-assistant managers are responsible for managing 30-40 retail employees, reporting and providing administrative and other support to the owners (who are the general managers), interviewing and hiring, training, catering sales and operations, and assisting in general operations of the retail ice cream shop. This is a hands-on managing position, like all our managing positions, and requires the co-assistant managers to shift lead and complete other physically demanding work. Applicant must be available to work flexible hours, including night and weekend hours. College degree and previous assistant management experience preferred. Co-assistant manager is responsible for managing a team of 8-10 kitchen staff and oversees the wholesale production operations, including making batch runs, ordering, inventory, quality control, maintaining equipment, and reporting and providing administrative and other support to the owners/general managers. Co-assistant manager would also provide assistance with interviewing, hiring, training, wholesale and catering sales and other HR needs. This is a hand-on managing position, like all our managing positions, and requires the co-assistant manager to make ice cream and complete other physically demanding work. Applicant must be available during weekday hours, and the occasional Saturday day. College degree and previous assistant management experience preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. Need to be available 21-30 hours per week (a minimum of 3 shifts per week). Employees may work as a shift leader some days and an ice cream scooper other days. Managing a shift either during the day or night shift. Responsible for tasks during the shift: managing money, scoopers, ice cream pick ups, training, etc...

Responsibilities: Prepare orders for delivery, use excellent customer service skills, delivery orders to customer and storage, be safe and efficient, driver orders to Izzy's, rotate customers stock, rotate Izzy's inventory, be able to lift heavy objects, move ice cream, help kitchen staff with kitchen duties, pick up and/or purchase food ingredients, and maintain delivery van.
